Art For Haiti-UPDATE

UPDATE: Over 50 artists and musicians participated, over 300 people attended. Over 50 items in the silent auction, nearly 40 in the Live Auction. Two 8′x10′ murals painted.  Art for Haiti will be sending nearly $1000 to the hospital – along with the murals.

When disasters happen, we as human beings reach out to help. When a nation suffers, we all suffer. How we as individuals help differs by our situation.

Some people can pack up and go – helping in person. For the rest of us, we do what we can from our homes.  So, here in lies the origins of the ‘Art For Haiti’ event. Artists of all flavors and all media are banding together to not only raise funds for a Haitian hospital, but to raise the awareness that the need is on-going.

So, join us for a day of Art, Music, Food, and Fellowship as we seek support the people of Haiti through our art. Lend your support through donations at the door, bidding on silent auction items throughout the evening and then stick around for a live auction of pieces created specifically for the event by local area artists.
