Partnerships
The Haitian Community Hospital has partnerships with the following organizations:
- GHESKIO: An organization affiliated with Cornell University, has contracted with HCH for the detection, follow-up, and treatment of AIDS (financed by PEPFAR).
- QUISQUEYA UNIVERSITY & LUMIERE UNIVERSITY: Both universities send medical students for practical training in internal medicine, OBGYN, pediatrics and surgery.
- UNIVERSITY of NOTRE DAME HAITI (UNDH): Sends nursing students for practical training.
- THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH: Pays the salary of 12 of 44 medical doctors and 6 of 64 nurses. It also provides free medicine for tuberculosis patients and training opportunities for staff members.
- ESPOIRE ANAISE: An organization providing food to HIV positive patients followed by HCH.
